is my fourth year film at calarts :: selected for the 2012 Producer's Show
Kagemono is the story of Beopup, a little fox who goes hunting in an enchanted forest and encounters something he did not expect. This is yet another story inspired remotely by Japanese fairy tales and a general desire to see cute things suffer. Trivia: The skeleton dog in the film, Gertrude, is another incarnation of the gargoyle from my first year film. His true form has not yet been revealed (I haven't drawn him in a while and the old drawings of him are bad). This film was conceived while visiting my friend Pia in Vienna, which was lovely.
